Get ready, for the all new horror comedy project starring visionary cult director Tommy Wiseau. Alex (Tommy Wiseau) is a normal, everyday guy, who makes a deal with a mysterious stranger (Joey Greco) for a very, very special house.

We’re huge fans of “The Room” on The Movie Bros. This short film is the latest from Wiseau, the bizarrely funny director/actor/writer/producer. He’s truly a quadruple threat — a threat to the art of film making.
Wiseau didn’t write this one. It was written by the sketch comedy group Studio8. It does have a couple mildly funny moments, but it’s written to have a Wiseau feel, so it’s not quite the same. Things are much funnier when they don’t intend to be, like “The Room” so wonderfully does. I love that movie. I’m glad I checked this one out — it premiered on Comedy Central this week — but it doesn’t have the same charm as “The Room.” Maybe it’s because it’s only 12 minutes and 49 seconds, or maybe because Wiseau wasn’t as involved.
It’s worth a watch for fans of Wiseau, but it’s not quite the same experience as “The Room.” I’m looking forward to his next feature length film… if he ever makes one.
